Terms of service
The service
RentingWebs adapts one of its ready-made website designs to your business and city, launches it on your domain and keeps it online, with hosting, security, backups, software updates and content edits, for as long as your plan is active. Plans, in US dollars: Starter, $290 a year or $29 a month; Business, $590 a year or $59 a month. Monthly plans carry a one-time setup fee of $99. Business adds a professional email on your domain, your Google Business Profile set up and linked, unlimited small edits and a quarterly performance report.
The catalogue
The websites shown in the catalogue were built by Octonove. Some started as redesigns for real businesses and are shown as generic versions with fictional brands; the rest are design concepts or websites of Octonove and its clients. Names, photos and contact details shown in the demos are fictional or belong to their owners and are replaced in your version; the design, structure and code are licensed to you while your plan is active. Scores are measured with Google Lighthouse on the date shown on each page and can vary slightly between measurements.
What is yours
Your domain is registered in your name. The texts, photos, logo and other material you supply are yours, and so is the copy written for you once your plan is paid. The design and the code remain Octonove’s and are licensed to you, for use on your business website, while your plan is active. Designs are not exclusive: other businesses may use the same design with their own content.
Edits and additional work
Updates to existing content (text, prices, hours, photos, team) are published within two business days: one request a month on Starter, as many small edits as you need on Business. New pages, new features and full redesigns are quoted separately before any work starts.
Cancellation and buyout
You can cancel at any time. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month in progress; yearly plans do not renew. The website then goes offline; your domain and your material remain yours, and there are no exit fees. You can also buy the website out at any time for $990: we hand over the files with a licence to use the design for your business on any host.
Payment and refunds
Nothing is due until you approve the preview. Yearly plans are paid in advance; monthly plans are charged each month by card. Invoices are issued by Octonove. If we cannot deliver an adapted website you approve, you pay nothing. Periods already started are not refunded.
